The house is about six miles from the village of Entraygues-Sur-Truyere, which is a very pretty village on a river with a medieval centre, a castle, a bank, post office, small supermarket, a few cafes and restaurants, the usual collection of butchers bakers and ironmongers, a campsite, outdoor swimming pool and an infant and primary school. It is also well-known as a friendly place. For a big supermarket and building supplies you go to Espalion, about half an hour's drive away. Rodez, with Ryanair flights from Stansted is an hour and a half. The house is part of a hamlet called Encassagnes, which is marked on large-scale maps. | |||||||||||||||||||
